The following information is intended to help all users and guests make their stay in the Play and Sports Arena in Bad Wiessee as pleasant as possible. They become part of our contractual relationships and help to resolve any differences in the simplest possible way. We assume that the users of our facility contribute to everyone’s comfort here through mutual consideration, and hopefully, it will never be necessary to remind individuals of the compliance with the following “Rules of Play” under threat or imposition of sanctions.
The selection and installation of the play and sports equipment in the Play and Sports Arena were carried out with the utmost care and with the aim of minimizing the risk of injury for children. The play and sports equipment all have manufacturer certificates regarding safety or are TÜV-tested without exception.
By entering and paying the entrance fee, all guests acknowledge the following General Terms and Conditions for use. They explicitly become part of the user contract.
The currently valid prices and opening hours can be found in our current information brochures or the notice posted in the entrance area.
- The Play and Sports Arena consists of several play, entertainment, sports, and gastronomic areas. The use of all offered equipment and facilities is at the visitors’ own risk and requires consideration and prudence towards other guests, without affecting the obligation of Spiel- und Sportarena GmbH & Co. KG to maintain all facilities and equipment in a safe condition. The documented rules on the equipment and fixtures must be observed.
- Children are only permitted to visit the Play and Sports Arena when accompanied by a guardian or a person responsible for supervision. Unless the child has reached the age of 8 and a guardian has declared their consent to the child’s visit without the accompaniment of a supervisor on the designated form. For children up to the age of 7, an increased supervision obligation applies. The transfer of supervision to Spiel- und Sportarena GmbH & Co. KG or its employees does not take place. The staff of Spiel- und Sportarena GmbH & Co. KG is not responsible for supervising the children. The accompanying adult also assures that the children are permitted to use all play, sports, and entertainment facilities in all areas of the Play and Sports Arena.
- The supervising adult persons are liable for their children and are responsible for any damage to facilities and equipment as well as for personal and property damage to third parties.
- Spiel- und Sportarena GmbH & Co. KG or its employees are only liable for property, financial, and personal damages in cases of intent or gross negligence. Spiel- und Sportarena GmbH & Co. KG is not liable for self-inflicted accidents of guests, especially not for damages resulting from their own improper handling and/or use of the play, sports, entertainment facilities, and other equipment and/or caused by other guests. Also, in cases of force majeure and accidents as well as defects that cannot be immediately detected even with due diligence, Spiel- und Sportarena GmbH & Co. KG is not liable.
- The indoor play area of the Play and Sports Arena must not be entered with shoes, but only with socks or stockings, preferably with non-slip soles.
- Climbing on the outer nets and on parts of the play tower accessible only from the outside, as well as on the nets of the trampoline area, is prohibited.
- In the toddler play area, only children up to the age of 3 are allowed. In the main area, i.e., the entire facility except for the toddler area, children under 4 are only allowed entry when accompanied by adults.
- Own toys and dangerous objects (e.g., glass) may not be used or carried in any areas of the Play and Sports Arena. Accompanying persons must ensure that children use the play, sports, and entertainment facilities only without objects that can become dangerous during play.
- Our bistro offers a variety of food and drinks. To offer family-friendly prices, the consumption of brought-in food and drinks, except for baby food, is not permitted. Except in the gastronomic area, the consumption of food and drinks is not allowed throughout the entire Play and Sports Arena.
- Smoking is prohibited throughout the entire Play and Sports Arena.
- Spiel- und Sportarena GmbH & Co. KG is not liable for damage to guests’ clothing that occurs while using the facilities and equipment. Liability is also excluded for cloakrooms, brought-in items, money, and other valuables.
- All facilities of the Play and Sports Arena must be treated with care. In the case of abuse, culpable contamination, damage, or loss of borrowed items, the guest is liable for the resulting damage. This must be reported to the staff immediately.
- In the interest of safety, order, and cleanliness, the instructions of the staff must be followed. Employees authorized by management exercise house rules within the Play and Sports Arena. They are empowered to expel guests who do not comply with the staff’s instructions or who violate the General Terms and Conditions from the Play and Sports Arena. No refund of the entrance fee will be made.
- Persons with contagious diseases or open wounds, as well as persons under the influence of alcohol, are not permitted to enter the Play and Sports Arena.
- Bringing animals is not permitted.
- On heavily frequented days, the operator or the responsible employees may restrict access to the Play and Sports Arena for safety reasons. Waiting times must be expected. The use of individual areas of the Play and Sports Arena may also be restricted. Claims against the operator arising from these restrictions are excluded.
- Please note that during your stay in the Play and Sports Arena, images may be taken, which are used exclusively for internal and external communication purposes of the Play and Sports Arena (e.g., advertising brochures, flyers, posters, advertisements, etc.). Claims for damages against Spiel- und Sportarena GmbH & Co. KG cannot be asserted.
- The place of jurisdiction and place of fulfillment is, as far as legally permissible, Munich. Should one or more provisions of these General Terms and Conditions be or become wholly or partially invalid, the validity of the remaining conditions shall not be affected. The wholly or partially invalid regulation shall rather be reinterpreted or supplemented in such a way that the economic purpose pursued by it is achieved as far as permissible.
- In addition to the aforementioned terms of use, the following terms of use apply to the football and tennis courts:
- Each booking represents the conclusion of a rental contract, which is based on the aforementioned terms of use. The landlord reserves the right to change allocated court numbers or to use allocated courts for special purposes, provided that the visitor is informed of the use at least 48 hours in advance.
- A football game unit lasts 45 minutes. A tennis game unit lasts 60 minutes, and on weekends also 90 minutes. The clock at the reception determines the start and end of the game.
- Court rental must be paid before the start of the game for single-hour bookings, and for the 10-ticket card, before the first game unit begins. If a customer does not use the booked hour, there is no claim to a refund of the rental price. If the hour has not yet been paid for, they will receive an invoice for the rental price. Booked hours can only be canceled by phone or in person up to 48 hours before the start of the game, so that no payment obligation arises. In the event of a later cancellation, a fee will be charged in full if the court could not be rented out.
- Balls and vests are only given out for free against a deposit and only as long as balls and vests are available.
- The playability of the courts is decided exclusively by the court manager.
- Only the assigned court may be played on.
- Entering the football and tennis courts is at your own risk.
- School classes and other groups of young people are only permitted to enter the football and tennis courts when accompanied by a responsible adult teacher, coach, or trainer. This person also ensures the proper condition upon leaving the sports facility.
- Entering the football courts is only allowed with indoor sports shoes and not with studded shoes. The tennis courts may only be entered with suitable sand court tennis shoes.
- Players are obliged to leave the assigned court after the game.
- Glass, glasses, bottles, and other containers may not be taken onto the football courts. Exception: plastic bottles and baby food.
- The changing and shower rooms must be left in a clean condition. Showers must not be entered with street shoes.
- The football and tennis courts must be kept clean, and waste must be disposed of in the designated trash containers.
